I'm looking for the cheapest b450 board (which I will upgrade later gor a B550 A-Pro or similar) to run a R5 3600 on it (5600X later) I'll not be ocing just let it boost as far as the board allows.

I narrowed it down to this 3 options:

1. Gigabyte B450 Aorus M

2. Asrock B450M Pro4

3. Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2

My main concern is overall build quality and Ram support.
I had some issues trying to achieve 3000Mhz before with Corsairs LPX (widely sold on Amazon) on a B450 Tomahawk.

I'm currently using a FX-8350 and got a last minute good deal for the R5 3600 but I don't have an AM4 board.
After a lightning killed my GPU I don't have any savings left so was planning on going for the cheapest and upgrade later to the MSI B550 A-Pro.

Yeah but a board at 70 dollars now + 110 dollars later = 180 dollars. If you buy the B550 and forget the one at 70 dollars that's a total of 110 and that's it. In the long run you lose money if you buy both.
You got a point there. But I wouldn't keep the b450m though, I was planning on sell it eventually.
The thing is I'm tired of the current platform I'm using.
And I'm leaning towards the B550 A-Pro so blindly mainly because all the rambling about how good it is for the price in terms of features, VRMs and such. I want something that can hold a 5900X later on without throttling it
Did you replace GPU ?

Yes, I wouldn't say that it's an upgrade but a replacement for a burned gpu.
