Actually a pretty decent wh40k mud does exist, from what I've seen, it
follows the flav very well, check it out, It is alpha but functioning
nice.

I second that, it handles most of the mechanics well. I can't speak
for vehicles yet as I have only seen them on PCs and shooting is
handled ok if you get into a shooting battle. However if you are
trying to shoot something that wants to assault you you have little or
no chance of doing that. Very hard thing for a MUD to simulate I
suppose.

The biggest problem seems to be the lack of structured help
documentation on the website associated with it. Class trees are
given but you have to gain the class before you can find out the
weapon loadouts they get. There's no going back to select another
class either so if it's not to your liking you are stuck.
