My Roccat kone+ died and i'm looking for new one. Atm. i'm looking at:
- Logitech G502, but i had read a lot of bad comments about scroll wheel, is it really that bad ?
- Logitech G402, tho i prefer branded cabel and it doesn't have wheel left/right click compare to G502
- Corsair M65 or Corsair Sabre, no clue how good is corsair with mouses
- Any other mouses that I didn't see maybe ?

I would prefer that mouse has branded cabel, more then 2 additional button and its not roccat (bad experience with kone+).

G502 if $ otherwise G402
SW isn't bad.
Corsair M65 is a laser (accel) and heavy

if you liked the kone, you'd like the deathadder shape. the deathadder (actually the old 3.5g version) is the only mouse i like using myself.

i've used the g502. the scrollwheel has 2 modes: hyperscroll and some really clunky clicky scroll function which feels more like rotating a bumpy scrollwheel over a rod than it does the clickyness of other scroll wheels. you either love it or you hate. i found the mouse a bit too narrow for my liking (the deathadder is perfect) but otherwise the g502 was a very excellent mouse and i was rather impressed.

agreed that the m65 is laser. there is more of a learning curve and more issues associated with laser (i used laser for 8 years so i got used to them). despite many gamers hating accel, its not as horrible as they make it seem. the biggest issue with laser is that it tracks when you lift the mouse up which can cause some odd behavior on screen in games when doing this. the heaviness is a good thing: heavy mice are more stable and less prone to jitter.

you might want to note what your bad issues were on the kone+
