i'm lookin to buy a Athlon XP processor...
since THG has unlocked the 'path' to OCing the XPs i need some input on wat i should buy

i was thinkin to get the 1800+ and OCing it to 2000+, but is that feasible, or is it better that i get a 1600+ and OCing it 2000+.. wat are the differences in the XPs processors that determine their speed?

any input will be appreciated ^_^

The 1600 xp is still the best value at 1400 megahurtz. I'd say that only half the people that try it are able to unlock the xp L1 bridges. Running my 1700 at 140 (1540) at the default voltage. Increasing the voltage seems to do little good.

cooling is more important in Athlon overclocking.

xp 1600 or xp1800, not easy to answer, you need some luck to get a highly overclackable one.
