I got a LS520 SE back in November on a fresh build with MSI mobo. The cooler was fine for a few days and then started making the noise. I sent a video to DeepCool and they recommended Amazon because their RMA makes you send in the unit, wait, then get a replacement. I just installed the replacement, undoing all my cord management was a pain and now my system is a mess. The brand new Jan 2024 one from Amazon started making the noise after about 15 minutes. Completely disconnecting the PSU and rebooting made it go back to 3100 for about 30 seconds... mines around 2400 and buzzing real bad. It's plugged into a pump header that's set to 100% by default. These things are DEFECTIVE.
That being said I ordered a unit from CM and will be swapping in tomorrow and then sending back the two defective units to Amazon, what an absolute pain. I have probably gotten <10 hours of use out of my new build. Huge amount of regret with how much I spent.. no wonder my last PC build was in 2010!!
