Using:
DeepCool MATREXX 55 Case
Antec 120mm Case Fan, RGB Case Fans, PC Fan, 4-PIN RGB, F12 Series (6 fans)
Asus Prime X-470 Pro (with 4pin RGB Header)

Case offers 3 pin RGB header. My Asus board and fans uses 4 pins. We daisy-chained the 6 fans and plugin the boards RGB 4 pin header...all good with the AURA Sync RGB lighting. The case has RGB lighting strip down the front of it but it’s not working. Wondering how to turn it on and if RGB will work.

(Note 3pin is 5V and 4pin is 12V...I think).

Solution
Yes, 3 pin is +5VDC and is Addressable RGB aka ARGB. (+5,D,G).
4 pin is 12V and is RGB. (12,G,R,B).
Coupling ARGB with RGB can damage the LED strip. Have a look on the motherboard, check if that has any ARGB header.

Your board Asus Prime X-470 Pro has 2 no.s of RGB header and has no ARGB header :(
