(SOLVED)

My motherboard traces were (what it seems to me) deeply scratched a month ago. all the traces lead to the SupremeFX Audio Shielding Technology. I wasnt there to see how it worked initially, but when i got back, Sonic Studio (SupremeFX’s software) didnt work and audio sounded generally affected, but 3 days later after using the PC (for an hour or so) the audio levels shot up and Sonic Studio started working again. So, is there anything i should do to the traces? Also, how long does generally the copper last in a PC when exposed?
Motherboard: Asus x570-e gaming

Apart from a thin layer of tarnishing forming when bright Copper metal is exposed to the atmosphere, printed circuit tracks will continue to work for many years in normal environments.

Modern boards are conformally coated after etching or depositing Copper tracks, but old printed circuit boards were often left uncoated and still work to this day.

More important is whether the scratches are deep enough to cut through any of the traces, breaking the connections.

Judicious use of a sharp scalpel to scrape off the conformal coating around the break, plus a single strand of fine wire soldered across the gap, should repair any damage (if you are sufficiently skilled in board repair).

If the scratches have merely removed the conformal coating, leaving the underlying Cu track intact, the connection will remain unbroken.

If the scratches go all the way down through the Cu track to the underlying fibreglass board and the connection is broken, then the affected circuit will not work.

You need to check each scratched track with a multimeter set to continuity and hope it displays 0 (zero) Ohms for each track. This will entail scraping a small amount of conformal coating off either end of the scratched tracks.

If you don't understand exactly what is required, take the board to a qualified technician.
