I've looked this up on the web but no one seem to have my exact problem.
I've put together a new system 3 days ago with 1 SSD 240GB and an HDD blue 1TB from wistern digital, the later one is not showing up in disk management at all, on the other hand, it shows up correctly in device manager with up to date drivers.
I'm using windows 10 after upgrading from 8.1 pro

Solution
Hi there pro-mos,

Sorry for the bad experience with your WD drive. :(
It seems that there is something wrong with it as WD's DLG tool shows errors.
You can just contact the place where you got it from and just RMA it.

Cheers,
D_Know_WD :)

I tried to unplug the hdd sata and plug it in another SATA port, now the device manager is not listing the hdd at all nor disk management.
Even thought it shows up the two disks in BIOS.. Any suggestions?
Update:
I accessed the hdd from bootable windows installation the hdd showed, i deleted the existing partition and booted to windows, it showed in disk management so i made a new partition and gave it a letter.. the partition worked for few minutes even the test tool from WD's website shows error. so i tried to relabel it the process took too long and even lagged the whole system..
now when i do complete format on it, the progress bar stuck at first part for 9 hours!
Should i return the hdd i bought from amazon? or i'm doing something wrong? cause i dont want this happen again when i buy another hdd
