I want to whitelist 4 EXE's. Can I just add a Folder exclusion for the top folder, which will include the processes in each nestled folder underneath it,

http://

or do I have to add it as a Process under each nestled containing folder?

http://

Thank you

How do I verify every nuance of that exe is excluded tho. I mean, it may connect okay, but there might be something else in the exe that's called at times that's tripping it up?

If there are issues, then you will find them when running the program. Without actually doing it, you won't know.

Wish it was that easy. It's a game in Alpha that has a whole lotta network optimization to be done. I won't know if it's client-side or server-side if there's an issue. Really, it's another example of Microsoft making something simple, difficult. But thanks for the help!

If there are issues and you think it may be due to the virus scan, disable the anti-virus program, easy to do. Right now you are worried about things you have not run across yet, good planning, but not good testing. If you are trying to troubleshoot things with MS software you would want to contact MS support to get an engineer to help trace things.
