When trying to Import favourites in the Export Wizard, I am asked to Import
from a file or address, and a default automatic file is offered. This file is
“C:\Documents and Settings\[username]My Documents\bookmark.htm. When I press
the browse button under where this address appears, the Select Bookmark File
page appears. The default file name is bookmark (file type HTML). If I click
on the arrow next to the default file name I get given a list of choices.
These choices all have the format “C:\Documents and Settings\[username]My
Documents\***\***\ …. Some of these folders no longer exist.
How can I remove them from the list in the drop down menu in Import/Export
Wizard?
I am also given a choice under “save as type in the Import/Export wizard of
two different file types i.e. “HTML and “All. If I choose the “All option,
the list of file options under the HTML disappear, but a new option list of
file names appear. They include recently downloaded exe. Files, and Word
documents that I have recently attached to e-mails. I would like to empty
both types of files, in fact, I would like to clear this history altogether.
Thank you.
