Advice needed:

I am purchasing a laptop for online teaching (2 in 1 convertible as I'm an avid traveller), I would like to learn how to edit my photos and GoPro videos and will also be studying a Masters in the future. I'd appreciate advice on which would be a better purchase. I was keen to purchase the Lenovo C940 but cannot get delivery in the UK at the moment due to COVID19.

In my price range I can afford one of the following:

Dell Inspiron 13 (2 in 1) 7000: 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-10510U Processor / 16GB / 512GB SSD / intel® UHD Graphics 620 with shared graphics memory / 13.3-inch UHD (3840 x 2160) Truelife Touch Narrow Border WVA Display.
(8GB and 1920 x 1200) would be closest to my budget.

XPS 13inch 7390 (2 in 1) 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7 / 8GB / 256GB SSD / Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics / 13.4-inch, FHD+ (1920 X 1200), 16:10, InfinityEdge Touch Display

While I'd go for the XPS between the two. If you want to edit a 4k video file, 16gb ram is the way to go.
Thank you. Would you recommended upgrading to an XPS with 16gb ram then? Can I purchase the Full HD 1920 X 1200 rather than the UHD (3840 x 2400)? This would make it closer to budget and also, I really value longer battery and if I don't need the UHD I would prefer not to sacrifice the battery.
