Dell computers front panel buttons

I have a dell M90 laptop. My question is what are the uses of the front panel push buttons. I bought this used, works great but I don't have connection to my wireless network in my home. Perhaps I pushed something that I should not have done. l Any sugestions?

On the side of the computer there is a slide switch for disconnecting from the internet. Check this switch.
