Dell Inspiron 15r 5520 CPU upgrade.

Hello, I've been fixing this laptop for a while now and would like to upgrade the CPU. I have found a list of upgradable Cpu's on the dell forums since the CPU in this laptop is replaceable and I'm just unsure of which CPU would work. Currently I have an I3-2370M that came with this machine. I'm looking for an I5 or I7 (whichever one is cheaper) and how much Ram the motherboard and CPU can handle. Thank You in advance

I'm not sure what your question is regarding CPUs - the link you posted seems to list processors that would work for you?

About the ram ... the 'official' specs say max ram is 8 gb - I wouldn't be surprised if it actually supported 16gb.

The i7 3520M can be had on ebay for $40 - not too bad a price.

The quad core would be nice but is substantially more at $100.
