Dell inspiron 5030 error sytem password reset

Hello,
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO RESET THE DELL INSPIRON M5030 I JUST BROUGHT IT FROMA FRIEND?

If it is the BIOS password then you can normally just reset the BIOS to wipe it. If its a Windows password you can find password removal tools online, one tool is in the Hirens Boot CD.
