Dell latitude d600 laptop wont even on or charge

It's broken, bring it in a shop for repair, or replace it. Strongly suggest replacing, fixing will cost about the same as a new laptop with parts and labor.

Maybe the power jack was knocked loose when it fell, but if the battery was charged when you tried it, probably not that.

Try to boot without the battery maybe. Chances are that the drop killed it.

^ Try to do this. If not, see below.

Refurbished Dell D630 is sometimes advertised at Newegg for under $300. Buy one of these and use the old laptop for salvageable parts; repair will be cost prohibitive!

Try holding down the "fn" botton, and power it on.
there might come some led codes, or beep codes.
If not, allso try to hold down "D" and the power on. This will start a LCD test, that only checks the LCD (Great to test if it gets power)

Is there any leds at all when you power on?
