Question Dell monitor and Lenovo laptop - - connection incompatibility ?

Hi!
I recently bought a DELL S3422DWG monitor and I haven't been able to connect it to my Lenovo 14'' Ideapad 5 14IIL05 ultrabook.
My laptop detects the monitor but it displays 'No signal from HDMI'. When I try 'duplicate displays' with refresh rate 60Hz (Interlaced) my screen appears on the monitor but there are flickers.

I tried connecting this monitor to other laptop models and all work properly, plus my Lenovo laptop works properly when it is connected to other monitors

Can you help me please solve this issue?

I am guessing it's some weird driver issue. I would try using a type c to HDMI adapter to get around it....
