dell optiplex gx520 windows 10 need audio driver
i have found a couple but neither work, had sound when i removed xp and installed windows 10
any help would be appreciated,
just fixing up and old pc to give someone who doesnt have a pc.

That prebuilt supports a maximum of Windows Xp. In your case, you can download the latest audio driver under the Xp drop down selection, here, then install the driver in compatibility mode, i.e, Right click installer>Compatibility mode>Windows Xp(from drop down menu), check the Run as Administrator box then hit Apply>OK.

For the sake of relevance, what OS version(not edition) are you on? BIOS version up to date for your OptiPlex?

thanks, i did what you said, i selected run in compatibilty mode, then ran as administrator, then i get,
the audio driver files do not support your computer hardware, it wont let me run the updated bios either, program payload error
any ideas?

Get cheapest USB audio adapter. It will be a struggle anyway...
