Question Dell P2416D Monitor Issue - Sudden Black Screen on Laptop Connection

Hi everyone,

I have a monitor (Dell P2416D) that goes black whenever I try to connect it to my laptop. It turns on and starts for a second, then immediately turns black.
This happened all of a sudden. Should I bother taking it to a repair shop, or is it dead?

I have a monitor (Dell P2416D) that goes black whenever I try to connect it to my laptop.
Did you try hooking the panel up to another display source/laptop/system? You might want to also change display cables and see if that helps your predicament out. Does the same issue crop up with any other panel when you hook it to the laptop?

I tried to connect it to a different device and use a different cable, same issue.
