Question Dell Precision 3260 Compact — No Display But Boots into Windows (Worked Briefly After Unboxing) need help🙏

Hey everyone,

I’m facing a really frustrating issue with my Dell Precision 3260 Compact, bought barebone from China via Taobao (through CSSBuy).

🔴 The Problem:
When I first unboxed and assembled it, after a lot of effort, I got display output 2–3 times during initial tests. Everything seemed fine — I confirmed that:


⚠️A Extra Issue: Auto Power-On Then Shutdown
Another strange behavior is:
Every time I plug in the adapter, the PC automatically powers on (white LED lights up),

but then shuts off after a few seconds After that, I can manually press the power button, and it stays on. But still - no display.

WiFi connected,
CPU, RAM, and SSD were working,

I could even tell the system was booting into Windows.

But since then — no display at all. It seems to fully boot in the background (keyboard and WiFi activity confirm this), but no video signal ever comes out anymore.

✅ Things I’ve Already Tried:

Multiple HDMI cables (including Ugreen active Dp to hdmi cable)

Different HDMI monitors and inputs (same setup works fine with another PC)

Replacing BIOS battery

Blind BIOS recovery with renamed IMG_BIOS.RCV on a 16GB Sandisk FAT32 USB (tested on both SS5 and SS10 ports)

Stripped down the system (removed SSD, RAM, WiFi, and booted barebones)

Tried both normal boot and BIOS recovery shortcuts (Ctrl+Esc, Ctrl+Fn+B, etc.)

SSD led activity confirms Windows boot in background

Even tried hdmi capture card - USB camera for display sniffing — black screen

Cannot reflash — seems BIOS flash might’ve happened once and now refuses to reflash same version? (no display, blind flash = ctrl +esc)

❌ Seller and Warranty:

Unfortunately, I used CSSBuy, and I had asked them to discard original packaging/documents to reduce import duties, so:

No official Dell warranty

Seller just says: “PC turns on, it’s working fine” and washed their hands off.

🔧 What's Next?

Do anyone know what's happening, I’d appreciate your advice. Please help 😭

I'm using igpu in i5 12500T, I'm looking to buy low profile gpu, i will update after this

Try another power supply if you have access to one, while you are at it. Looks like a standard Dell laptop style power supply is used by this system.

I assumed that was the case. If you can find another to test with, it is a good way to isolate/rule out an issue.

👀 In above first video you will see pc turn on but on display.
👀In this video u will see, after adding nvme or hdd, it ssd led start blinking, it will starting booting windows but no display at all also wifi got connected after boot

I assumed that was the case. If you can find another to test with, it is a good way to isolate/rule out an issue.

Currently i have only one psu right now. I will look for another if possible
