Dell S271DG 27 inch 144hz G-sync monitor & DisplayPort.

Hello everyone,

I just recently got a Dell S271DG 27 inch 144hz G-sync monitor for my birthday. I noticed that in order to utilize the G-sync technology for gaming I can only use display port. Unfortunately my 980 Kingpin doesn't support display port. Is it possible to use a DVI-D to display port adapter to achieve the G-sync technology while maintaining 144hz? Are there any other options for my issue? I just want to be able to use 144hz and G-synch technology on this card and my new monitor.

I think you are mistaken. 980 is a high end card, and a new card. Every new card has display port, the high end new cards have 3 of those, yours included.

On the right you have a DVI port, next to it to the left there is an HDMI port, the other 3 small ports are display ports.
