[citation][nom]Kami3k[/nom]And yet Nintendo is losing money.Doesn't matter how many consoles you sell if no one buys the games.[/citation]
How many consoles you sell determines the potential sales for the games and thus whether 3rd party will develop for it.

This Dell Bundle is only $460 because it comes with the deluxe Wii U w/ Nintendoland ($350) + Just Dance 4 ($50) + Madden NFL ($60). DO THE MATH!!!

[citation][nom]Joosey Jay[/nom]It's going be just like the Wii. Gonna sell hard the first year then no one will pay attention to the console. Agree with the first comment as well. Over priced for old hardware.[/citation]
Huh?
Actually Wii was selling way better than xbox and ps3 (combined?).
The problem was, people who bought it didn't buy much games (if at all) afterwards. (MS and Sony sell roughly 2.5 games per year per sold console)
However it wasn't a problem for Nintendo, since it was making money on (frankly ancient) hardware. (thanks to innovative controllers)

I doubt people would be as eager to buy these strange thingies with a screen.
