Hi All, I have recently had to reinstall Windows 11 on my PC and since doing so i have remapped a network drive to my Linux server ( running Ubuntu server ), but it will not allow me to copy files or delete anything. When setting up the server i created a folder /Storage/Disk-A and labelled my drive and mounted my drive to that folder. On my Windows computer I then created folders on the drive like Word, Excel etc.

Is access denied because i created the folders using Windows and not Linux?
I used sudo chmod 777 /Storage/Disk-A and thought this would apply to all sub-folders.

On the Windows computer what full pathname was used?

Does the target server have a static IP address with that static IP address reserved for the server via the server's MAC?

My thought is that there may be a typo or misconfiguration in the pathname.

I will need to defer to the Linux community members for the applicable format required to mapy to a Linux server.
