Desktop Airflow Problem

Hello, right now i'm having trouble with a failing cpu and video card. Until Tuesday I won't get my replacements in the mail, and I'm just wondering if anyone can help me out with some techniques for my case. I've tried the positive pressure airflow technique to the best of my knowledge and it seems like my idol temp for my video card raised from 40-45c(without the side case and fan on) to above 50c(with the positive airflow).

I have this case which includes two 250mm fans. One in the front that doesn't do much(It's actually not spinning anymore and if it does it makes scraping noises).

And the other 250mm fan on the removable side. THIS FAN BLOWS INTO THE CASE. They both also have controls for the speed of the fans.

The second fan I'm using for PULLING HEAT OUT OF THE CASE is a standard 120s fan I got from a thrift store.

What size is the fan on the back of the case? and is it blowing air out. Also get the front fan fixed or replaced.

When I get my replacements I'm going to try and dismantle and fix the front one.

The side 250mm fan is blowing into the case.

The back 120s fan is sucking air out of the case. so there is some airflow. I don't know how to check my ambient temp but I know for sure those temps are too hot for the cpu and gpu.

If your temps. don't improve after you repair the front fan problem you could switch the side fan around to exhaust the air to see if it makes an improvement.

From what I've read on many forums, people who also own the case say the front fan does completely nothing for temps, and most often is first to break. I've had the case for close to 3 years and it went out the first year. From looking inside the case, the drive bays block most (if any) airflow from going out the front fan. : /

The front fan basically cools the hard drives, the other fans are suppose to remove the heat that comes off the hard drives, gpu, and cpu. The side fan is for extra cooling of the gpu. What I'm trying to say is you have alot of air flow going into the case with very little going out, with the one 250mm fan running on the side is double the capacity of our 120mm exhaust fan on the rear. You keep circulating half of the heated air inside your case, that is why I suggested to turn the side fan around to see if that would help. You will probably have to upgrade the rear fan to a higher cfm if you do not switch the side fan around.
