Here's an idea Tom:

Make this table (or another page in addition) more dynamic and have a couple of extra 'sort-able' columns like Release Price (low to high), Current Price (low to high), Overall Performance (worst to best) and finally Performance by Resolution. You could even have another column for Power Consumption or Performance per Watt or Performance per Dollar etc.

Another idea is when we hover over the Graphics Cards in this current table, how cool would it be if we could have additional info like current price etc pop up in a bubble/window.

Sound okay ?

Not sure if its just me but some of the Nvidia cards are higher then where they should be. 580 on the same level as the 670 and 7950? Just no, the 580 should be a tier or two lower. 1070 is basically the same as titan x/980 ti with an extra 2 frames but its in another tier above??

Then please to create another hierarchy table for mobile gpus too because many people (like me ) have a lot of problems with naming and performances of original cards and their rebrands alongwith alternatives from both team red and green

IMHO, the GTX 1070 performs far two close to the 980 ti and Titan X in most cases to be ranked an entire tier higher. In a number of benchmarks, the Titan X sometimes edges ahead of the GTX 1070. Ranking the GTX 1080 2 tiers higher might be a stretch; nonetheless, this generation's X70 part is a bit more cut down from the X80 than last generation's X70 silicon. This leaves the GTX 1080 performing somewhere midway between 1 to 2 tiers higher than the 1070.

I don't see the price info as valuable or useful as it's too volatile... Do we really care what release price as if they are selling for $50 more or less than that when shopping. What I find troublesome is that THG which identifies as an enthusiasts site, makes no effort to examine the relative overclocking potential of the cards in the listing

It's in the same tier as the FuryX which is 9% slower (1440p) in TPUs 19 game test suite "outta the box" ...but the FuryX OCs only 5%, the 980 Tis do 30% .... doing the math...

FuryX = 100% x 108.1 fps OC'd / 102.9 fps reference = 105.05%
980 Ti = 109% x 134.8 fps OC'd / 102.6 fps reference = 143.21%

That performance should in no way be considered "same tier". That difference is equivalent to the difference between the reference 970 and the 980 Ti which are two fill tiers apart.

This really needs to be in a WIKI format so that the community can keep it current. And add columns like OC'd vs stock clock.

It is a really useful table, and a great place where you can compare 5 years old cards to current ones.

some idiot will ---- it up and so on.... 🙁

the 1070 shouldn't be on top of the titan X and OC titan X kills a 1070 easily and have more Vram also. Think they should be on the same tier

1070 can be oced two :)
but yeah the 1070 and titan x should be on the same tier unless power efficiency is a factor then the titan x should be lower

yeah but a titan X at 1550mhz is still faster than a1070 a 2ghz... titan x is between 1070 and 1080

this page is really help full in understanding the true position of graphic card...but it really need to get updated regularly....plz update this page it is really useful...

these guys think 580 games faster too: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-660-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-580 based on Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Bioshock Infinite and 21 more

But this site thinks 660 Ti id faster for compute: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-660-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GTX-580/2183vs3150

Either way, having them in the "too close to call 1 tier apart" range seems about right. Or close enough to not lose all credibility.
