660Ti is faster than 580:
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/860?vs=767
Also, 660Ti has 2.5 TFlops of compute, 580 ~1.6 TFlops (per Wikipedia).

980Ti at stock Nvidia specs is probably a tier below 1070 at stock Nvidia specs.. The official 980ti is only 1000 mhz base / 1075 mhz boost (geforce.com). Any OC card though for each (i.e. MSI 980Ti, MSI 1070) and they're probably about the same tier..

Which is faster 660ti vs 580 depends on what games.

By your link 660ti wins 8 to 5.
Games 660ti faster: Dirt, Total War: Shogun 2, Sleeping Dogs, Far Cry 3, Battlefield 3, Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3
Games 580 Faster: Hitman: Absolution, Crysis: Warhead, Civilization V

Add in a few more and the results swing around like here http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-660-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-580 Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Bioshock Infinite and 21 more

having the two cars within 1 tier really looks reasonable.

I do definitely appreciate that this list gets updated - however the date on it is still showing as December 15, 2015. It would be helpful if, as is done with the CPU hierarchy chart, to show the date this chart was last updated.

Is there some way the community could update the chart and email it to Tom's so you can check the changes and update?

Is there some way to procedurally have each Tom's Video card reviewer make the necessary changes to the table each time a video card is reviewed?

Can you reach out to someone in your forum community (not me) with a billion good posts and see if they will maintain the table for you (perhaps in exchange for a 6-pack) ?

I always expected it to be updated each quarter, seems to be different now since it isn't included with the best GPU's articles any more.

I see that 1080 and 1070 were added (great!), but the article publish date wasn't changed. That might throw some folks off.

Hopefully, the 1060, 480, 470, and 460 make it soon. As well as the new Titan X, I guess.

This is a great reference, and I hope it is maintained!

Definitely need to include all the new cards. Including the ever-impressive and expensive, and TH reviewed!, Titan X(P).

Oh, that's easy. Just create another row above the 1080, and there goes the Titan X! LOL

Oh hell, no. There's yet another king in town; I've just read the new Pascal's Titan X review and it has blow my mind out my skull.... pricy, definitely! Awesome, hell yeah.

Will you be adding the Iris Pro 580? I think it slots right alongside the GF750 (non-Ti) / 5850 level from my testing but would like Tom's testing to confirm.
