Desktop Help

This might be a bit much to ask and if not, great! I don't really know much about building Desktops so my question is, with a budget of around $900 - $1000, what is a good build for gaming? I'd like to play Guild Wars 2 at it's highest settings or borderline with no lag if possible.

Give some information before: do you prefer intel or AMD ? Are you going to overclock ? Give your info on your current PC so we could reuse some components, like the PSU.
