Desktop icons wont sort into bottom row.

I recently tried using rainmaker to customize my desktop but decided I didn't want to use it and uninstalled it. Now my desktop icons wont auto sort to the bottom row no matter what I set my res to Unless my display scaling is at 100% (I prefer 125%).

Whats your screen resolution size ?
What version of windows do you have and is it 32bit or 64bit ?
Try this, right click sort by type, sort by item type.
Next, go to view icons, click on small icons, if auto sort is off enable it and see what it does.
If I am understanding you right you want the icons on the bottom in a straight row like mac os does it ?
If so disable auto sort and line up the icons in the way you want it.

Small with auto sort still doesn't work
Not exactly, I want them all on the left side down to the bottom in rows like this but if I auto sort and after restarts they always end up like this. Dragging them to the bottom is a little bit buggy as well, it moves them around a bit instead of just the one I want to move. As I said this problem doesn't occur if my display scaling is on 100%, only on 125%. The only changes I've made to my PC lately are windows updates and I tried out rainmeter (desktop customization tool) but uninstalled it after.

Hmm whats your monitor size by chance and whats the max resolution it'll take ?
I have a 19inch sansui and I have it at 1280x960 or 1280x1020.
I know your aiming for 125% but maybe that won't be happening the way you want it.
Try 100% for now and see if you can get along with that.
Also by looking at your screenshots, those icons look like there on medium settings.
Sort your apps by type, games go on one list, utilitites go on another and etc.

If I were in your shoes I would leave the icons hidden and use windows search to bring up whatever app I need.
Less stress on os in the long run.

What kind of video card do you have for it to reach that high resolution ?

Nvida Geforce GTX 770M in a laptop, no scan needed I know all my parts. Its also 120Hz and Nvidia 3D 😀.
