hello guys,

so my desktop keeps having problems booting up, when i on the pc it will have few scenarios:

1) the pc sounds like it boots up but after 3-4 seconds it's off again and after another 3-4 seconds it reboots again then goes off after 3-4 seconds again and this keeps repeat itself on a loop. (nothing shows up on the monitor)

2) the pc sounds like it did boot up with a beep sound but nothing shows up on the monitor at all (pc sound is still running). so i have to manually press the on/off button to off it and try again

3) the pc boots and monitor did shows the booting process but after few seconds monitor goes blank again. (pc sound is still running)

4) the pc boots in a very loud noise and nothing shows up on monitor as usual, and when i press the on/off button it shuts off immediately instead of the usual need of press and holding the on/off button for 3-4 seconds before it shuts down.

so every time after a few tries like 5 tries on average? then it will manage to boot up and i can use the desktop, may i know what could be the issue here? i'm sorry i'm really a computer idiot and i dont know about my components specs except that i'm using windows 7.

Sorry for the long post and thank u for reading and thanks for any help or advice given!

Nice pics, thanks.
As you've likely noticed, there is a lot of dust built up in there. You're going to want to clean that out. I'll even go as far as saying that simply cleaning may just be the ticket to cure your PC's current ills. A can or two of compressed air (at $4+, per can it's stupidly expensive IMO) should get the PC cleared of dust. Give it a cleaning (outdoors since that is a lot of dust) and see if it doesn't clear up your start up problems.
Not to worry, I'll be around in case that isn't the cure... we can pick this back up.
Specs may help us here so, once you get the computer running (I'm assuming it does start properly sometimes), you can download and run SPECCY which will tell you the hardware installed in your system (except the PSU).
It does sound like it may be power related though so if you can open the PC and let us know the make and model of the PSU in addition to the specs from SPECCY, it'll likely help us

have downloaded it and these are the specs stated in SPECCY:

Very good, so we're looking at a ~3-4 year old PC, I'm going to go back to power since nothing is jumping out at me that may cause that kind of behavior. There are two power related places that are prone to "wear" from use, both will require you to open your PC to check. First, the PSU. As a PSU ages, it's ability to provide power diminishes (and components inside can fail). Second is the VRM (Voltage Regulation Module) which is located on the motherboard. The job of the VRM is to deliver proper power to the components on the motherboard. The VRM contains many resistors, capacitors and some MOSFETS and is usually located near the rear I/O panel (yours is at the top of the board just above the CPU). Depending on the stresses put on those components, they are subject to failures. A visual inspection of that area may show where components have burnt (which would indicate a failure). There are solid caps there (silver and blue things), you'll want to look at the base of those for signs of leaking.
My primary instinctive concern would be the PSU since that is more likely to fail than the motherboard's VRM. Still needing the make and model of the PSU

Note, you can post pictures of the PSU (label side preferred) and VRM area (although looking for burnt areas on a black motherboard is sometimes tricky), that does work for us

not sure if these are the correct components as i'm really and idiot when its comes to computer stuffs lol.
