Hi,
After a recent crash whilst using Microsoft Word, my desktop shortcuts (to hyperlinks) no longer open up the actual web page. Rather, it opens up a new tab in my browser with a short text file containing the address of the web page. For instance, if I click on the Guardian newspaper shortcut I get the following text file:
[InternetShortcut]
URL=https://www.theguardian.com/uk
I'm using Windows 10 Home 64-bit and my default browser is Brave. Yes, I've gone through the various settings (default apps, default type type, default protocol) to make sure they are all associated with Brave - which they are. So now I'm stuck.
Any ideas?
DANNY
