Recently one of my desktops running Windows 7 cannot connect to the router properly after cold boots.Recently I switched to fibre broadband and received a new router. The setup is flawless for about two weeks, until a ISP's error cause intermittent slow internet connection(for about a day).Since then, now the desktop will recognize the LAN device as unknown and no internet access(lan icon with yellow warning symbol),but is fine without a hitch after a reboot.Wireless devices have not been affected at all.The router is an Aztech 7003GRV provided by the ISP.
The motherboard is MSI Z77 MPower, with a realtek LAN(it is fine throughout ADSL times before upgrading, for about 4 months.).Driver update and cable change does not solve the problem. Is the LAN port faulty,or do I need to do something in the UEFI?The firmware is the latest already. Will try changing ports on the router, although that is likely to not work too.
Flushed DNS,cleared cache and used MS fix it with no effect.
Thanks for any advice given.

Solution
Changing ports on the router is unlikely to make the difference.

Sounds like your new router is broken. I would try plugging another computer, such as a notebook, into the router via the LAN port, and seeing if the issue persists.
