Determining Bios version or best guess.

Alright, So I posted here before about this board wondering about bios version but I didn't have the box yet and someone said that it Should tell me on the box. Looking at the box there is only 3 bar-code stickers and none of them seem to have the bios version it shipped with on it. I'm trying to figure out if I can purchase a haswell refresh chip or not.

My question is, Do you think Judging by these 2 links http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4664#bios --- http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4664 that the board shipped with that F7 bios? Its the only bios shown on the cpu support list and the list has haswell and refresh both for that version. going by the bios versions to download there is F7 and F8 only and doesnt show which was first release.

Thanks for anyhelp.

Solution
As F7 for rev 1.0 was released in May and your board manufactured in September, then it will have the required BIOS for supporting the CPU.
The box will not tell you what BIOS is installed on the mobo, unless someone hand wrote it on there.
There is no way to tell for sure, other than entering the BIOS once it is installed.

That being said, I've never bought a Gigabyte mobo (3rd one now) that didn't come with the latest BIOS.

Thank you so much, It was so unclear to me and I never knew you could find out manufacture dates and stuff like that.
