DHCP Server and Print Server on the same box

Hello,
I need help with server hardware configuration for Print server and DHCP server on the same box. The site will have approx 150 users. Thank you for your help.

We'd probably need a bit more info, but a DHCP server requires hardly any resources and neither does a print server, so I'd imagine a low-level server would be plenty.

Well you have to remember that print spooling in Windows is ajoke, so if you have a possible 10 people printing at the exact same time (within 10 seconds) it could bog the server down. BUT DHCP requests are so minuet that you shoulnd't see any performance decrease. Even a pentium4 would be fine.

Anything new would be powerful enough... But for 150 users I would make sure it's a proper server with resilient bits (disks, PSU, fans)... You don't want the disk to fail then have the whole office unable to print for a day while you rebuild it from CD. Go for a named brand (Dell / HP) and get yourself a decent warranty / carepack - I always go for 5 years up front because thats how long I would expect a server to run for minimum.
