I've been thinking to play some mmorpg or dungeon crawler and i found these 2 video games which is great and received so much good reviews from people in the internet. Which one do u guys prefer I should be getting first ? My goal is not to beat the game quick but rather to enjoy it and I enjoy playing rpg games like Skyrim.

I've payed GW and GW2 and I found them both interesting. What I liked was that it actually had a story that got progressively harder, dungeons to explore, quests, and several different ways to play a character, be it mage or fighter, human or charr etc and each race has its own story, so it's possible to play the game in many totally different ways, unlike D3 which gets to be the same grind over and over, no matter what route you take.
diablo 3 isnt about "beating" the game, its about the grind and infinite progression of higher and higher greater rifts and paragon levels, and ovcourse the legendaries, and with the introduction of ancient legendaries its only gonna get more grind intensive. It still has great lore though.

i have never played GW2.

BUT! if you are looking for the perfect mix of dungeon crawler and MMOs, maybe should be looking at "Path of Exile" aswell.

thanks for your reply Robertwhyte. I'll be guessing that Diablo 3 is more about its replaybility ? if yes than I'll love it ! As long the game doesn't ask for any kind of microtransaction to get better armory, etc :) But for Path of Exile I think nope , as it's f2p and have the 'microtransaction' 🙁

thanks for answering, Karadjgne. How about the end game in Guild Wars 2 ? does u need to take a boss or something ? and how about the items ? does certain items need to be bought with real cash or premium in-game currency or can simply be bought by normal in-game currency ?

I actually haven't gotten to the end, even after hundreds of hours of game play. There is a massive merchant system involved in GW2, you can either but in game items to upgrade better armor etc, or learn the skills to build your own, its a lot more than a simple hack and slash.

As far as external cash goes, that is prohibited in most games, so going to eBay and other sites and paying IRL cash for stuff can and will result in account banning if caught. As such, there are always ppl who want to sell uber powerful or cool stuff, but mostly that is arranged in private auction using in game cash, not IRL cash.
