Diablo2 Expansion AND BG2 Exp. at same time?

What am I gonna do? Both the Diablo 2 expansion and the Baldur's Gate 2 expansion are comin out in the same week. I don't know what to play and for how long. One things for sure: I wont see the light of day until at least august.

I don't have the time to procrastinate.

I just could not get into Baulder’s gate. I mean you have to talk to everybody in each town, like 500 people. It was driving me nuts. Diablo II was more hack and slash, no thinking, just killin. I got an amazon to level 73 then just stopped playing. I finally imbued a good bow (137 dam) but there were about a million duped Carrin song (153 VF) out there. Made my bow seem lame. I just could not take all the duping.

Question: Are they going to make everybody start over or are there going to be 934564 level 98 barbs running around when the expansion comes out? If so I won’t be buying it. Aslo, If blizzard can’t stop duping this time there is no hope for them ever stopping it.

If your having trubble with duping why dont you just play on closed battle.net?

And yes the expantion will allow current characters to still play. The expantion adds new stuff, 2 new characters, a new act, and dubbles stash size i got that all from the June issue of PC gamer

the duping IS on closed b.net(noone in the right mind would complain about things like that on open b.net anyway, since everybody on open is cheating). There are loopholes and bugs that people take advantages of. The last patch supposedly removed duped items, like if you had 2 identical items, one of them would be deleted. The Carrion Song Gothic Bow is just an example, there were even guys who tried to sell loads of them on ebay. The Stone of Joradan is another item which has been subject to massive duping. Cheating exists on closed b.net, noone can deny it.

I've played on closed BNET hardcore for nearly a year now. I've not seen any major problems with duping.

btw, my plan is to make an assasin on closed battle.net because i have finally gotten sick of all the cheating on open. the assasin looks like it will SOOOO kick ass. cant wait.
