I just installed my first after market cooler, the hyper evo coolermaster...I am almost certain screwed it on evenly across the CPU. is tehre a way to tell if I distributed weight evenly when I screwed it it? Like would one core be hotter than the other?

So far after loading up witcher 3 and elder scrolls online, playing for a bit HWMonitor recorded a MAX temp of 70-74 degrees celcius, while it was staying consistantly around 50-60 while playing. Does this sound right? IM running i7-4790k, not overclock, and a gtx 980 with 2 8gb DDr3 ram and 2 tb HDD..

Thank you!

Just as a follow up on my i5-2500k, which by design runs cooler then the i7-4790k I was able to get a stable over clock of 4.6GHz with a max. temperature of 65C during stress testing while using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. It tends to idle around 30-34C.
