Did I get an okay deal on this 5870? Its a Gigabyte

paid 340 US with shipping off ebay, open box, and supposedly new but never used. Should I sell this when it arrives?? or stick with a bad batch XFX 4890 which I already have 175 invested in? Unfortunatley my 4890 seems to be stable only up to 900 mhz core w memory at 1000, still a decent card for the price but I try to play mostly at 1920X1080 on a 22" would have been nice if it overclocked like some boast about but still a nice card at stock settings, imo.

Also, will this power supply below suffice for one or two (crossfire in the future) 5870's?? I don't have much else being powered in my rig other than one extra sata hard drive in addition to the rest of my standard components.

Thanks, any help is appreciated!

$340 is a good price as long as it works. That PSU should be ok for one HD5870 but not two. It actually uses considerably less power than the HD4890.
If you don't already have that PSU I would avoid it and go for a better brand like Corsair or Antec.

I understand that the power supply is not the greatest not 80+ but still has 3 12v rails, i got this psu for 40 dollars new so it was hard to pass up. Do you think ill be okay sticking with that because I really don't plan on crossfiring any time soon, could you reccomend a psu that would be better? should I go for the 80+ or 80+ bronze etc.? is it better to get a psu with one 12v rail that can support say 56 Amps or one that has several 12v rails suporting 22-25amps like mine?? just a little confused on the matter thanks in advance!
