Question Did I just kill my GPU

Hey, so I got a big issue right here, I bought a gpu (RTX 2080ti Zotac AMP) except the fans were wobbly and made noise so I tried to fix them but broke one in the process, so I ordered new ones from aliexpress, even though the sound issue was fixed, the remaining fans were spinning at full speed no matter what, so I thought it was because of the missing fan so I tried to solder the wires back on the fan pcb but did a terrible job, so bad in fact that when I tried to turn the pc back on, I heard a pop and the GPU stopped working, fans not spinning, no video output, even after removing the broken fan.
I think it's absolutely cooked, a youtuber gpu repair channel made a video (don't know if i can mention specific yt channels but he's from the north west) the guy who sent the gpu had pretty much made the same mistake as me and the repair guy said it was completely dead.

This:

My thought is that the solder work resulted in a short circuit.

Electrical current went where it should not have gone and/or perhaps "too" much of it.....

And destroyed some PCB component.
