Hi everyone, I have a RTX 2080 I purchased in 2018 that I think may have just died on me. This is still my first GPU so I'm not 100% sure what exactly happened or if my assumption is correct.

This morning I decided to launch a game and noticed I was only getting around 1-15 FPS when I would usually get 200+. I checked task manager and my GPU utilization was at 100%. I decided to update the drivers using GeForce Experience. Once the install finished, my computer reverted to on-board graphics and only 1 monitor was displaying.

I checked device manager and my GPU has error code 43, however, it also says my drivers are up to date. I also downloaded GPU-Z and I think that my cards vram is showing as 0 (Memory Size shows 0MB) . My research shows that this can mean the GPU gave out. I just want a second opinion on this if possible. If there is anything I can try, please let me know.

Error 43 in Device Manager + 0(zero)'s showing up in GPU-Z. Yeah that's a sign that the GPU's conked out.

Not being able to detect the onboard memory does not mean the card is dead.
If possible, take it to a PC shop, and see if they can fix the memory. This likely requires reattaching the memory chips to the PCB.
If taking it to a shop isn't possible, well... I guess it may as well be dead.

Is there anything else I can check at home to determine if the card still works or not? If not, I will see if there is a PC shop in my area.
