Question did my graphic burn?

hola, compré un gráfico de 1080ti pero parece que mi fuente (600W) no es lo suficientemente fuerte como para poder soportarlo y luego llegué a la idea de la gran idea (sarcasmo) de poner el mobo en el gráfico, pero no pasó nada o incluso encendí la PC (¿por qué la PC no se encendió sola cuando puse el gráfico y conecté los pines que estaban correctos)? ¿Puede haberse quemado el gráfico? por qué al final cuando hice las conexiones, aparecí en la pantalla POR FAVOR APAGUE Y CONECTE LOS CABLES DE ENERGÍA PCI E PARA ESTA TARJETA GRÁFICA. ¿Mi duda en todo esto si quemo el gráfico o necesito comprar una fuente?
