you couldn't have installed vista on an unformatted drive, vista installation automatically formatted the drive as it saw fit without you realizing it. nothing to worry about.

^ yes formating was automatic as was partitioning.
Download/install and open AS SSD. Do not need to run benchmark unless you want to. But look in the upper left - it will:
1 Identify SSD
2. Firmware version
3. driver (if bad driver it will say BAD
4. stae if partition alignment is OK.
