Which is better intel core 2 duo T6600 or intel core i3-330M?

The i3, it has superior architecture and hyper threading making it a pseudo quad core which could help out significantly with some tasks, but in strictly dual threaded tasks it will still beat the core 2 because it has much higher IPCs

Thanks. I was just wondering because I am buying a new laptop and I couldn't decide whether I should get a sony vaio NW series or wait for the new E series.
