Difference between microchip & nano-chip?

Pls, what the difference is between a microchip and nano-chip?
Exist a technology at the present time can create a chip smaller than a microchip or nano-chip?

Homework? hahaha ...Well @bignastyid, I have a strong desire to know more about technologies. Thusly, I will have many questions for you folks and possibly some answers myself.

Looks like it has more to do with the size of the chipset. Nano chipsets must be smaller and more power-efficient than the micro chipsets. Small chipsets definitely take up less power.
