I currently use a Toshiba 24" HDTV as my monitor. If I were to get a similar-sized computer monitor at the same resolution, would I see a difference in image quality?

Specs:
-GTX 970
-FX 6300
-Windows 8.1

Solution
Its hard to say would have to compare specs. A TV just means it has a tuner built in vs a monitor. With that said very few if any 24 inch TV's will have low input lag be capable of 120 fps have built in contrast enhancing features like various game modes etc. Also very few 24 inch TV's will have a high end IPS or VA panels which you can get in a monitor. So if you have the money you can get a nicer monitor than a TV at this size. This is all based on the fact TV manufactures dont push down high end panels and other parts into the 24 inch TV's but high end monitors in the same size can be had.
