[SOLVED] Difference in different USB 3.0 ports

So i thought all USB 3.0 ports were the same, and i mean transfer speed, but apparently that's not the case, in 2 different pcs (each with 5 USB 3.0 ports) i tried external hard drives, phones and usbs, transfer speed varies a lot, some take 20 mins to transfer for example 20 GBs in images, other takes 4 hours, with a WIFI USB, ping and download speed is super different depending of the port, if I use the wrong USB 3.0 port, it would be impossible for me to play online, but on a different port, it works great, why is that? can i improve speed in all of them? Sorry if this has been asked before

usb 3.0 have gen 1, and gen 2. gen 2 is double the speed on gen 1

Yeah, but i just checked, all my ports are gen 1, but still, they all have different transfer speeds and it happens in 2 different PCs, USB 3.1 gen 1 are the ports

could be by the motherboard chipset or 3rd chipset. exact spec on those 2 pc?

One is a MSI B450m gaming plus, the other is a gygabite a320m s2h cf

And thats my question, because I only use the USB 2.0 ones for peripherals such as mouse and keyboard, but for devices such as external hard drives and phones (for file transfer) I use the USB 3.1, and therein lies the problem, each one have different transfer speeds, some are super fast, other are super slow

if the different is because cpu vs chipset usb3.0. not much you can do. use the correct one.
there might be setting on the bios control speed too.
