Question DIFFERENT settings SAME FPS?

So I’ve recently built an amd build with a ryzen 7 2700x with a 5700xt from gigabyte and I’m confused on why when I play modern warfare on highest settings I can get about 150fps but when I’m playing Overwatch on the lowest settings get the same amount of FPS?

Aren’t I suppose to be getting more frames since it’s at lower settings ? I know they’re different games but still shouldn’t I be getting more?
Please help or if you have any suggestions that would be great thanks !!

Hello I am currently running a Ryzen 7 2700x and a rx 5700xt. I've been playing Overwatch and realized that I get around the same amount of fps 150fps on both high and low graphics settings. I am confused on how to fix this or whether there is anything to fix. Shouldn't I be getting higher frame rates with the lower setting? Any suggestions would help thank you!
