DigitalStorm liquid cooling system help

Alright so I've been seeing these really nice looking liquid cooling systems in maximumpc magazine for DigitalStorm custom built computers. I was wondering if anyone knew what the liquid cooling systems in any of those were called or where to purchase one. I'm really curious now that I've been reading the magazine for awhile. Any help would be appreciated.

Which one, the small one? The small ones are made by Asetek and not sold retail. Corsair's H50 uses the same design however, and is available retail.

With the clear lines and red coolant? Looks like a component system. You build yours based on the components you want to add, rather than trying to find a complete system.

There aren't any complete systems with GTX 295 water blocks.

Yeah I went to the website to build a PC to find out what the liquid cooling system brand was and the only way to get it is through building a computer on that site. Oh well, what liquid cooling system for a CPU would you recommend that looks good and is trust worthy?

 

[Conumdrum]

A proper WC rig is about $200 to start for a CPU only. It's a kit of top parts from different suppliers.

A cooler with liquid thats as good as a Top Air cooled heatsink is about $75. Look at the Corsair H50, I really don't like to call it a watercooled stup. But it does have liquid and is capable of keeping a CPU as cool as a high end air cooled heatsink.

You want to cool a GTX295, the watercooling block alone will set you back over $150. Add $80 or so for the pump, $50+ for the rad, another $30 or so for the hose. It's not a kit. You buy the parts and assemble it yourself. It's not that hard to do.

@OP: Seriously, unless just looking for a silent cooling solution, don't get a kit/prebuilt. The only kit that gives good performance is the Swiftech Apex. If you are looking for higher OC,etc you should seriously look in to a custom loop.

A D5+ GTZ + res +rad will run you about $200. Less so if you use a heater core (~$20-30 for the core) instead of a rad like the Feser XChanger(usually $70+),etc.

Yea but a MCR320 is just over $55 or so on sale, a great rad for the price. No reason to go heater cores which we know need two massive fans, usually $15+ each. And the noise!

Doesn't mean they are not sold at that price. The OP should spend a lot of time learning then get the parts when availible. No rush.

I spent hours looking to buy their oem version. I could not find anything to buy this exact cooling system from Antec. However i found several similiar cooling systems of various prices.

Two things too note. Digital storm systems not only cool the CPU but allso cool the vidoe cards GPU.

My new system is overcloked to to 3.8 mz from 3.09. the system cools the CPU to allow this extra boost. The cooling system runs about 180 dollars give or take. If i were to buy the newer CPU it would cost me 500 dolars more. So there is a net savings of about 320 dollars for similiar proformance of the higher end I7 cpu.
