Diisplays turn off then GTX 770 Fans hit 100%

Hi,
I have recently encountered a some issues. As the title says, I will be watching Netfilx or Youtube and then all of a sudden my two screens turn black, as if the DVI cable had been disconnected, and the 770 fans hit 100%. Once this happens, the keyboard and mouse do nothing and the only way to get back funcinality is to manually turn off the computer.
I have the latest drivers for Nvidia and the cables seem power seems to be connected normally.
Is there any place I can check for this issue like Event Viewer?

what are your temps?

the graphics card will shut off (loss of video) and ramp up the cooler (to 100%) in the case of high temperatures.

you may want to list your ambient (in room) temperatures, the temperatures of the card in operating conditions (using the nvidia software) as well as what case you have and where you have it placed.
