I've managed to inherit an almost complete home build nehalem setup inc asus 1366 mobo, corsair 650 psu, brand new case, cooler and gtx 260 black, all I need to complete the build is a cpu and memory. What do you think i should do, get a 1366 cpu and mem or sell the mobo and go down the sandybridge route?? I'm not that bothered about max res on all the new games although it would be nice
Mainly i use my PC for programming, apache/iis, DB work, photoshop / gimp and transcoding video. I'm currently running linux on a pentium D 3.40 ghz so am used to getting by, am just after the best bang for my buck!
