How can I tell if I have Direct x installed and if not how do I do it.
I have a pc game which needs direct x 9.0 or higher.
The internet explorer has stopped the download?

What error does IE report, that you can't download ?

To find what version you have:
Click start > Run > dxdiag
Look at bottom of System Tab for directx Version installed.
