When I press the "minimize" button on the top right hand
side of an opened window. The opened windows is
minimized. However I cannot see its taskbar button.
When I use ALT-TAB, I can show the previous window.

How can I make the taskbar button appear when I minimize
the windows?

This is a known problem with a fix available.

Go to the following website and scroll down to Line 240, left side. Click
the "Programs aren't minimized to the Taskbar" link to download the file.
Double click the file to run.
